“Growing local farming, so we all have local food!” is our motto. Local food is for everyone.

WE ARE CURRENTLY REORGANIZING TO BEGIN AGAIN. We were very successful in getting farm food to local tables, but required the funds to purchase a delivery vehicle, and refrigerated storage. It was time to expand, or close. We are hoping to be set for expansion in the future. We are currently in discussion with several other groups (township, non-profit) that are interested in our mission of bringing food grown locally to nearby residents and businesses, and growing the agricultural economy of Northwest New Jersey.

DÉGAGÉ GARDENS IS A SMALL-SCALE ORGANIC MARKET FARM THAT BEGAN IN 2001 IN ROCKAWAY, NJ (MORRIS COUNTY) & SERVICED THE LOCAL AREA WITH VARIOUS ORGANIC PRODUCTS: POTTED VEGGIE/HERB/FLOWER SEEDLINGS; & MY FRESH PRODUCE, HERBS & FLOWERS. ALL THE HERBS AND FLOWERS ARE STILL IN ROCKAWAY, BUT THE REST OF MY ‘OPERATION’ HAS MOVED TO FRANKLIN ~ IN SUSSEX COUNTY. I AM PRESENTLY NOT AS ABLE, SO I’VE TURNED MY FOCUS TO MY ORGANIC ECO~HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS. THEIR INGREDIENTS ARE EASY TO GROW & MAINTAIN & DON’T MIND THE BROKEN FENCES!

Anne Giller has been a small, organic herb, perennial and vegetable farmer for many years. She also eoc hand-crafts herbal products from her herbs, using organic and natural materials and organic ingredients.

Anne’s products are been sold in upscale retail stores, such as The Health Shoppes, The Urban Muse, and several Whole Foods Markets.

But Anne is a down-to-earth gal, and she is most happy when she has a connection to all of her customers.
